Passing parameters in actions

Hi All

Is there any way so that I can pass result parameters returned by one action
to another action in a pipeline?

Like result parameters in action 1 should be accessible to action 2

<map:act>-------------> action 1
   <map:act>------------>action 2

   </map:act>
</map:act>
