Yeah - this is what I was thinking actually.

Users need the functionality to be easy and simple to install - so for ease of use, I would suggest the svn that Florent is hosting is a good place for modules that have 'license implications'.

Is this an OK route?

I don't think we can provide patches. To create a patch you need to use
part of the source code, and TinyMCE is LGPL. LGPL is forbidden in ASF
projects. It certainly could be an externally provided patch, but I
don't think it can be on ASF infrastructure.
