Witch url you try ? Can you send all the error stack trace ? (seem more
to be a i18n problem than timeout one)
I just have a try with
http://www.lequipe.fr/Xml/Football/Titres/actu_rss.xml and I have no
error... but no answer though.
A little investigation give me that :
- in fact news module don't call feed module when an rss in put in news
document
- feed module is not able to parse RSS (just atom), and atom have to be
well formed for a good render.
For having a good atom/rss feed module, we have to use a specific parser
like apache feedparser ( http://commons.apache.org/dormant/feedparser/ ).
As it's dormant, we have to try how we can use-it.
So, retrieve RSS with news modules don't seems not to be a piece of cake
for now...
I'm interested in this. But not have too much time now. If you dive on,
can give you an hand.
