Hi!

I tried it now on one of my servers, and so far, it looks good. Installation
is a bit messy, at least I found no way to update all components at once, and
therefore had to do it by trial and error. Also, a few more dependencies
would be nice, for example:

-dm2 should install n.n.tag-beta, because otherwise, you'll get errors on the
page

-styleeditor should install m.a.help, otherwise it won't work

since updating, I also get this notice in openpsa:

Notice: Only variables should be assigned by reference
in /usr/share/php/midcom/lib/org/openpsa/calendar/calendar_midcomdba.php on

A note on the style editor: Having played with it just shortly, it seems to be
quite useful, but two things are missing IMHO:

-In the list view, you only see style elements the component calls. If there
are other style elements in the same style, they are not shown.

-In the editor it would be cool to have an AJAX save button, so that the
editor stays open but the style element is written to disk. This way, you
could monitor the effects in a second browser window without having to click
edit all the time. Also, undo information and the cursor position isn't lost
due to saving then.

I also have no icon for the editor in the toolbar, but maybe that's because I
overlooked one package when updating.

Apart from that, I noticed that my gallery topics load a bit faster now, but
not much. For example, 10.1 seconds in midcom 2.6 became 9.2 seconds on one
of the topics. But hey, it's a start :-)

Bye,

Andreas
