Hello. I have just installed midgard with the binaries provided for ubuntu linux.
Everything downloaded and installed fine... until I run datagard. It asks me for a server, which I leave empty since is localhost, then admin password (root) and then password itself. I get the following error: Can not connect to MySQL server. No response for MySQL ping command Check MySQL server and try again mysql is running, it listens on 3306... password is fine... I have the following: - mysql 5.0.24a-9ubuntu2 - php4 4.4.2-1.1 - php4-midgard 1.8.0 Any ideas?
