Well, the thing is, my edits were all to adapt exorcist to a Midgard 1.8. database, in fact I have Exorcist 1.1.1 running on a Midgard 1.7. database without any modifications. The issue I had with new articles not getting replicated was that the GUID field stayed empty, so I added it to the exorcist schema, but for a 1.7. database, this shouldn't be necessary. BTW: Have you tried looking up the GUID of a newly-created article in Exorcist's log and in the live database? This might give you some hints about what goes wrong.
