Hi, all! Midgard Gathering 2008
November 6th - 9th 2008 Agenda The gathering is scheduled to happen after Midgard 8.09 "Ragnaroek" release and will focus on discussions and hacking around what will be Midgard 9.03 "Ragnaroek+1". * Unit testing workshop (Thu November 6th) * Ragnaroek+1 feature planning * Midgard and Vala discussion * Neutron and future Midgard user interface * MidCOM 3 hacking * Midgard organization and IPRs: as-is, foundation, ASF, FSFe, ... * Midgard and authentication: Kerberos, OAuth and friends * Midgard-on-mobile: packaging, Jabber replication * ...and of course beer and sauna! The event has been named "Midgard Gathering" instead of the more traditional "Midgard developer meeting", as end-users will be more than welcome to attend. If many end-users turn up we will arrange a Midgard tutorial or workshop for them. Venue Otakaari 20, Espoo, Finland The second Midgard gathering of 2008 will be held in Otaniemi, right next to the Helsinki University of Technology campus. Bunk beds are available at the meeting venue for some, and there are many Midgardians in the area who can provide couchsurfing options.
