Hi, the next release (beta 6) will include some new features that will make it easier to write a utility for "raw" export/import. With "raw" export/import I mean creating a copy of a "node space" where native ids will be different from the original.
Creating a import/export utility that keeps URI information such that you can export from one source, import into some other destination and the data will connect with already existing information is a bit harder to do. A RDF-based export/import as suggested earlier sound like the way to do this.
