This has been discussed before. I think that the LuceneIndexService
could support this with little effort. I'll just take a stab at this

The ability to drop an index is definately something we should think
about supporting. I'll take a look at this as well. Something like
IndexService#deleteIndex( String key ). "delete" naming convention
goes better with neo4j than "drop" I suppose.
