Hi all, I've put together a set of wiki pages starting at http://wiki.neo4j.org/content/Neo4j_Spatial.
The purpose is to open discussions on the idea of building a set of extensions, utilities and libraries around Neo4j for enabling comprehensive support for spatial data (GIS data, Map data). This includes conventions and standards for storing geographic topologies in the graph database, spatial indexing for search and spatial operations, and import and export utilities. Anyone interested in this project is welcome to read the wiki pages and comment here in the mailing list, or even directly in the wiki.
