The best thing to do is not dive straight into a complex SPARQL query, but look to see if the particular triples you think are lost are actually there. You can do this with simple SPARQL queries or drop into Gremlin and search around. The SPARQL query engine you are using was developed by Aduna and has been in use for many many years so I doubt there is a problem with their engine. I suspect there is some missing data. ?? .. Or perhaps your query is wrong. ?.
