Marko forgot to point out that the Neo4j-Server comes with installed plugins for Cypher (http://docs.neo4j.org/chunked/snapshot/cypher-plugin.html) and Gremlin (http://docs.neo4j.org/chunked/snapshot/gremlin-plugin.html)
Cypher's pattern matching is inspired by SPARQL so you might like it.
