Currently there is no point to build from svn, because it is nearly
the same as the last released version and won't resolve any issues.
As I already said, I have lots of uncommitted changes, including two
days old embedder snapshot. So, any changes you'll make on the current
code from svn you will have to scrap after I commit my stuff.

Eugene
PS: btw, this king of issues should be discussed in the dev mailing list
not in the user's one

Thanks. I didn't realize the embedder jar was checked in as part of
m2eclipse, so it was much simpler to build than I had anticipated. Sorry
for the stupid question.
I'll try it out now. Eugene or anyone, are there any incompatibilities
or other issues I should look out for? Obviously our normal command-line
Maven build will be with Maven 2.0.4.

Subject: Re: [m2eclipse-user] Maven Embedder Coming
this is not an answer to your original question but there's a
good description, how to build both of them in m2eclipse SVN:
http://svn.m2eclipse.codehaus.org/browse/m2eclipse/trunk/org.m
aven.ide.eclipse/notes.txt?r=161
Maybe this will help you?
