Yes, the red color mean that dependency is already in the project classpath (directly or indirectly trough modules or transitive dependencies). But that has been like that since first versions...

I recently upgraded to 0.0.10 of m2eclipse.  Here's what I did:

1.  select pom.xml
2.  Maven2->Add Dependency
3.  type junit

junit is returned in a RED font.  The entries below it are grey for 4.1,
4.0, 3.8.2 and RED for 3.8.1.  As it turns out, 3.8.1 was handled by a sub
pom. I had never seen this before and was wondering about the behavior. There's no error msg to indicate that it's handled earlier.
