I right click on the main project name in the navigator and have not had
any problems. I don't think I have ever added a dependency by right
clicking on the pom.xml file. Does it work without problems if you add
the dependency to the top project instead of your pom.xml file?

Not enough information. It could be that your pom.xml is not well
formed or invalid.
Check exceptions in the Eclipse log and any error marker in the
pom.xml and in Problems view.

update my

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: 18/02/07 11:54:16 MST AM: An
internal error occurred during: "Read Project".
How can I fix this?
