sorry about that...

Regarding the preferences in run/debug, I don't see anything there that
would help... I need to see standard out and standard error (in a normal
console view)
The settings I was referring to are:
[ ] Show when program writes to standard out
[ ] Show when program writes to standard error
Those basically mean that console will be activated/shown on those
events. Those don't change what is show on the console. They just
disable automatic console activation.
The problem is that there are multiple console views (i.e. standard out,
maven output, stack trace view, etc)
My assumption from reading the eclipse help is that if you pick one console
view and hit the "pin" button on the console tab, that view stays in the
front and other console views stay to the back.
However, when you do a build with maven enabled the maven output always
comes to the front, whether or not a different console view is pinned.
As I said, we may need to improve in that area.
Now having said that, it seems that one of the following 3 things is
occurring:
1. it could just be that the eclipse console pinning is broke,
2. it could be that I misunderstand how pinned consoles should behave.
3. Or maybe the maven plugin is not checking the pinned flag?
Thoughts?
I would have to investigate. Because that jumping can be disabled, I
consider it low priority for now, but will be glad to accept any
patches. :-)

Eugene
