When you add -console to eclipse.exe command line it supposed to show
you the console process for java.exe.
You can also add the following lines to the exlipse.ini file
-vm
C:\jdk1.6.0\bin\java.exe

Can you please run Eclipse with -console settings (or use java.exe on
windows) and when it hangs, hit Ctrl-Break few times. It should print thread
dump to the console, so you can copy it and attach to jira report (I think
there is one already about that).
