Updating Source Folders adds JRE System Library properly but packages are not created - I receive an error message as follows:

09.03.07 10:13:12 CET: ERROR mojo-execute : compiler:compile : Compilation failure
Unable to locate the Javac Compiler in:
 E:\java\jre\..\lib\tools.jar
Please ensure you are using JDK 1.4 or above and
not a JRE (the com.sun.tools.javac.Main class is required).
In most cases you can change the location of your Java
installation by setting the JAVA_HOME environment variable.

AFAIK, m2eclipse ignores JAVA_HOME. Make sure you're running Eclipse with a JDK instead of a JRE. You can use the -vm commandline option to Eclipse or add it to eclipse.ini
