Hello,
I'm under windows 2k. I have a maven 2.0.7 installation with the proxy
setup in the <maven>\conf\settings.xml. It downloads stuff via http just
fine. I have setup the M2_HOME environment variable to point to maven.
For some reason however the Eclipse maven won't pick up the proxy
although the FAQ seems to say it is sufficient to setup the proxy for a
regular maven.
I conclude that the Eclipse maven can't use the proxy because of the
myriad of
these:
Unable to get resource 'org.osgi:osgi_R4_core:java-source:sources:1.0'
from repository central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2)
