Hi all,

I am using the m2 Eclipse plugin in a non-Maven project for dependency management only. This generally works great, but I recently tried to add a dependency to the most recent version of the JAXB-RI (2.1.5), and was not able to do so.

First, I added the java.net repository to my pom.xml:

      <repository>

            <id>javanet</id>

            <name>Java.net repository</name>

            <url>http://download.java.net/maven/1</url>

            <layout>legacy</layout>

      </repository>

If I navigate to the URL with my browser, I am able to see the 2.1.5 jars and the corresponding md5’s, but if I try to add the dependency through the Add Dependency menu or if I manually add them to the pom.xml file, it is unable to find or download the jars to my local repository.

Any ideas?

Looks like you are trying to use a maven 1 repository.

Try using http://download.java.net/maven/2/ as the url
