as far as i know an own maven embedder (that means implementation) is
used inside m2eclipse plugin.
i think it a very nice feature if it is possible to use the native maven
installation as used for command line. i know this from the subclipse
plugin, where you can set if you want to use own implementation or the
native svn.exe one.
in our case this is very important, for we want to rely on one single
implementation: the eclipse maven should work exactly the same as the
command line one.
could this be an interesting feature for the next release or is it
already possible to configure this in current release?
