Hi Chris,
Goals you create using "Run As / Maven Build..." are added to the
"External Tools" configuration. You can open it from the main toolbar of
from main Run menu / External Tools.
There is also shortcut Alt+Shift+X, M that you can use to invoke Maven
launch dialog. The key binding can be changed in Eclipse preferences.
I think it is been requested before to allow to customize shortcuts in
the "Run As" menu. Can you please submit an enhancement request to the
project issue tracker at [1] and please put request for a view in a
separate JIRA issue (though that one will be bit more involved).
By the way, out of curiosity, what goals you are running frequently
that you need to see in "Run As" menu?
Thanks
Eugene

In Eclipse, it seems the only way to do a Maven build is to click the
Run menu, and then pick one of the listed goals: Maven Build, Maven
Clean, etc. I usually want to run a goal that isn't on the menu.
It's a pain to have to pick the Maven Build... menu item every time,
and then fill out the form where you specify the goals and other
params. Plus, it seems to create a new run configuration each time,
and I can't figure out how to edit an existing config.
How do I put frequently-used goals on the menu?
Or better yet: make it work the same way as Ant, where you can just
open build.xml and all the tasks are right there for you to run.
