Much appreciated thanks. I think you'll be happy with some of the next
features that are released. We are definitely working on a POM editor,
but a good one will take some work. We have waited this long to
release this version because we wanted to release something of good
quality. We'll continue down this path with the features we continue
to add.
Is there a release plan?
And is the development of the plugin a real open source project? Or is
this developed internal in your company and only the sources are published?
Naturally it is an open source project and anyone is welcome to
contribute patches and improvements. See the following wiki page for
some hints http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Contributing+Patches
As for the release plan, currently we can't make it public, but we'll
get to that at some point.
Hmm, should the content of the SVN be compilable? Is there something
todo after checkout? I get some red points that some packages are not
available...
There are few external dependencies required to build Subclipse and
Mylyn integrations. I will try to put instructions for setting
development environment by the end of this week at the following wiki
page
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Configuring+Development+Environment
Also, if you checked out from trunk, you might have picked up some
work in progress. To get stable code you should scheck out from the
release tag.
regards,
Eugene
