Assuming that your poms are indexed you can as well run import wizard
from File / Import... / Other / Materialize Maven Projects. See
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Importing+Maven+projects#ImportingMavenprojects-MaterializeMavenprojects
We may as well provide an option to allow to specify url for the pom
that need to be imported. If anyone interested in such feature, please
submit JIRA issue. :-)
