Hi all,

I already used izpack a bit in the past and am now back to some new use of
it. Might be because I had had a good experience with it :).
I'm trying to install an eclipse rcp app. This time I have some more
requirements with my installer.

At the end of the process, I would like to let the user directly start the
app. I guess you'll agree this is a feature commonly met at the end of an
installation.
Is it possible? Has someone already created such installer with izpack?

I tried putting a ProcessPanel after the FinishPanel (because I planned
using the automated installation, great great out-of-the-box feature!).
But, here's the current behaviour:
* with GUI=> The FinishPanel is the 4/5 step, when I click on finish, it
really seems to end up the installation process. The file that should be
executed doesn't even start.
* With automated installation (saved in the previous case thanks to
FinishPanel), the process starts well, but the installation stays locked
until it is closed. Here's the output:
C:\...>java -jar install-definition.jar automatisation.xml
[ Starting automated installation ]
[ Starting to unpack ]
[ Processing package: CGA (1/1) ]
[ Unpacking finished ]
[ Starting processing ]
Starting process lancement-cga (1/1)
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(fr.mipih.foundation.spring.context.PluginApplicationContext).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
IT BLOCKS HERE UNTIL I CLOSE MY APP (.exe eclipse rcp application)
[ Processing finished ]
[ Writing the uninstaller data ... ]
[ Automated installation done ]

I guess the ProcessPanel was designed to do something for the installation.
So it waits for the process ending. Some questions:

   - Is there any option that would spawn the process without waiting for
   it?
   - Should I extend ProcessPanel? (or patch it, if you wish)
   - Is there another Panel I should use for this use case?
   - More generally speaking with izpack, I seem to understand there should
never be something after the FinishPanel since it ends the installation
   process. Am I wrong?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Cheers.
