Just as I recieved your email I also found the new and noteworthy section at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/New+and+Noteworthy#NewandNoteworthy-0.9.3.200804212352%2FApril21%2C2008 which said that the build configuration had been moved to the run/debug dialog.
I'll update to the dev build and see how I go from there. Cheers again.
