Can you please verify that you are using the latest 0.9.4 release
(which should include archetype 2.0-alpha-2). The update site is located
at http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update/ (it should be
0.9.4.20080603-0114 or later, which you can check in Help / About
Eclipse SDK / Plugins, or from Help / Software Updates / Manage
Configuration.
If it does not work with most recent version, can you please create
JIRA issue for that and attach sample archetype that would allow to
reproduce.
I'm aware that the current release
does not let the user supply additional properties in the UI (as told
in MNGECLIPSE-612), but in this case, it does not need to.
In 0.9.4 release you actually can specify additional archetype properties.
