You shouldn't need to. Subclipse integration is an optional feature as it shown on the feature name and you don't have to install it.

Though problem below is related to Subversive (a different SVN client) and from looking at the error it seem like Eclipse configuration already have some errors that need to be fixed before you can install anything else. To verify that you could try to install something from the Ganymede update site, e.g. Eclipse Communication Framework Application.

I was able to install both "Maven Integration for Eclipse" and "Maven

dependency issues

A colleague of mine who installed the same version as you, said he had
to install the Subclipse eclipse plugin to resolve the dependency
issue that you are seeing.

Hope that helps

Hi.
With both update sites I get an error when trying to install "Maven
Integration for Eclipse" and "Maven POM XML Editor (Optional)", for the dev
update site the version listed was 0.9.5.20080627-1152 for both.
The error is as follows:
Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Unsatisfied dependency:
[org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl15.win32.feature.group
2.0.1.I20080612-1500] requiredCapability:
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl15.win32/[2.0.1.I20080612-1500,2.0.1.I20080612-1500]
As I'm running Mac OS X I can understand why its complaining about the
connector, but I can't see exactly why it should be causing that dependency
to come through.
Thanks,
Sean.
