Tim,

This usually happen when you don't have all required plugins or their dependencies installed. They all should be installed automatically when you use Update Manager, but in some cases Eclipse Update manager can let you to install features that don't have required dependencies. I would recommend to try to install the dev version from the dev update site at http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update-dev/ (make sure you use "install new features" and not "update"). We have some improvements how dependencies are declared in m2eclipse plugins and features and POM editor also have number of fixes and improvements see New and Noteworthy for more details [1].

If that does not help, please attach your Eclipse configuration details from Help / About Eclipse SDK / Configuration Details. It would allow to tell what dependencies are missing in your environment.

regards,
Eugene

Hi all,

A fellow developer noticed that when she upgraded to 0.95 that it included a POM editor, with depency hierarchy and graphs and such. I would like to use these features, but for some reason they are not available to me after I upgraded. Is there some switch I can’t find or something? I suspect a possible bug but am too novice with m2eclipse to know if I’ve done everything I should.

Thanks,
Tim
