Now I see it is very confusing indeed. There are two sections, one about
installation (refers to the demo script) and another about using local
eclipse installation as build target platform.
Please follow [1] to install tycho and build a sample project.

Can you explain what you are trying to achieve? FYI, Tycho does not need
any installation, you just need to download and unzip it into an empty
folder.
