My project has a number of profiles, and through the Maven tab on the project's properties panel I've specified which profile I'm wanting to use. That works fine, but when I right-click on my project and go to Run As -> Maven package (or something else) that profile isn't used. Is this a bug, or expected behavior? If it's the latter, I'd argue that it shouldn't be.
