Can you please elaborate what is impossible? While it is always the
best to use latest Eclipse version, the wiki page I pointed you to has
very short hint that allows to quickly select and install required
dependencies. Please let me know if the following instructions copied
from that wiki page is hard to follow?
----
The easiest way to install m2eclipse and required dependencies in
Eclipse 3.3 and 3.2 is to use the Update Manager UI. Select m2eclipse
features
<http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Installation+Requirements#InstallationRequirements-InstallMavenIntegration>
you want to install (e.g. you don't have to install features marked as
optional), then expand Europa or Callisto update site node in the Update
Manager UI and click on "Add Required" button to add required
dependencies from Europa or Callisto update sites.

Thanks, I did not know that it is almost impossible on Eclipse 3.2
(and 3.2 is default even on newest ubuntu)
I downloaded 3.4 and it runs sooth
