Thanks, Stevo. Especially for the test project. It is now easy to see
what is going on.
Unfortunately this issue happen due to a limitation of Eclipse and
trade off we had to make because of that in m2eclipse. I posted a
comment in jira issue with more details.

submit it along with a bug report into the project issue tracker.
It would be great if you could isolate any non-standard Eclipse
