[m2eclipse-user] Resource filter excludes in eclipse source file defs

Howdy all

I have a quick question.  When your importing a maven project in with  
eclipse, m2eclipse is setting the source folder excludes for the  
resources directory.   The problem with this is that when building to  
do stuff like run unit tests internal to eclipse (or do a clean)   all  
of the properties and resources in the resource directory do not get  
into the classpath because they are excluded.

Is there some specific reason these are excluded by default?  Or is  
there a way to set this not to happen by default?
