Have you also checked the textile-j plugin, which has similar objectives? It's being integrated in Mylyn: https://textile-j.dev.java.net/mylyn-wikitext.html and it's already downloadable from the Mylyn incubation update site.
It makes possible to generate directly HTML or Docbook from a menu item...
