Are you able to build Apache Sling from cli? m2e itself does not inject any eclipse dependencies into maven builds it runs, so my *guess* you need to somehow configure Sling build.

I'm fairly experienced with Eclipse but much less familiar with Maven. I am
using m2eclipse on Ganymede on Mac OS X 10.5. I am trying to build the
Sling software I downloaded from the Apache SVN repo. When I try to run a
maven build, I get the following error:

The archive:
/Applications/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.jst.j2ee_1.1.200.v200806051600.jar
which is referenced by the classpath, does not exist.

The log file is no more illuminating:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.jdt.launching 4 150 2009-01-28 15:44:41.941
!MESSAGE The archive:
/Applications/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.jst.j2ee_1.1.200.v200806051600.jar
which is referenced by the classpath, does not exist.

I do find org.eclipse.jst.j2ee_1.1.203.v200809102204.jar, apparently a newer
copy in my Eclipse plugins list.

This Maven plug-in jars appear to be version 0.9.6.20080905.0917 should I
be using an older j2ee_1.1.200 plugin or a newer m2eclipse plugin??
