How did you import SCD-Maven project into Eclipse?
From the looks of it, SCD-Maven is a multi-module project and if you
used Maven project import default settings m2e should have created
separate eclipse project for each module. If this was the case, you
should have scd-common eclipse project where AbstractHibernateDao is on
build classpath with all error markers, code-assist, etc working as
expected.
