Hi Wolfgang, Looking at the code it turns out I was wrong about metadata support being there in the connector. Sorry for the confusion.
The way it works is that in the data query and no required return column is considered to be metadata with a field name corresponding to the return column name. So in addition to you returning a URL and a binary value, you can also return any single-valued metadata you need. Please let me know if this works for you.
