Hi

I tried crawling my shared folder and documents but I got "Access is
denied" message. I saw the following link:
http://search-lucene.com/m/ManifoldCF/NdbFm1Hj3lTTxePo?subj=Re+JCIFS+error+while+crawling+DFS+share

Shinichiro Abe says "If your server is managed by Active Directory, you
will need to add user of Domain admins group with full control to access
folders. Otherwise you can't obtain all ACLs information probably. "

So I added user of Domain admins and my problem is solved.

Otherwise, It says here[
http://serverfault.com/questions/174200/domain-admins-vs-administrators-in-windows-ad-dc
]
as "Domain Admins: Members of this group have full control of the domain.
By default, this group is a member of the Administrators group on all
domain controllers, all domain workstations, and all domain member servers
at the time they are joined to the domain. By default, the Administrator
account is a member of this group. Because the group has full control in
the domain, add users with caution."

I don't want full control of the domain. How can I solve as having less
authority?
