Unfortunately the outstanding implementation of CMIS in Alfresco can cause
some doubts about which URL use :)
As Jeff kindly mentioned again, you should use CMIS 1.1 with the URL
similar to the following:

http://[host]:[port]/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/atom
<https://community.alfresco.com/%5Bhost%5D%5Bport%5D>
