Hi Sujinzhao, Your steps s1-s3 are all correct for starting Mesos itself, but you also need a framework that can get offers from Mesos and launch Tasks.
The easiest and simplest to use is the example framework that Mesos ship with (mesos-execute), or you can use richer frameworks like Marathon/Chronos as well. You can also implement your own if you want more fine grained control.
