Hello Mesos users,
I am not sure that this is the best place for this announcement, but I
thought it would be worth a try...
The Multidisciplinary Image Processing Laboratory at the University of
California, Riverside, is announcing a Mesos-based Big Data framework
for scientific computing. The project is currently called StratOS
(because it is closer to the user than Mesos).

Ah; music to my ears.....

Perhaps the best way to gain some instant credibility is to provide a link to a list of big-science, open-source codes that run well (with stability) on your platform. Most common linux offerings offer a plethora of Big Science codes in many areas of science. Perhaps the 800 lb gorilla in the bunch is Molecular Dynamics (sometimes referred to as Computational Chemistry). This sort of listing will turn some heads rather quickly and establish the validity to supporting your claims.
Perhaps you have replaced 'the master' of computational chemistry [1] ?

Regardless, your boldness is very, very much appreciated and I look forward to perusing the listing of open-source, Big Science codes, that run robustly on your platform.

sincerely,
James

Although StratOS is primarily designed for scientists, it is useful for
a much larger group of people because of its generality.
