Matt and Flo from Mesosphere suggested I might find some people to brainstorm around high-performance / big memory / large dataset use cases on this list. I'm looking for application use cases that require high performance compute and have high I/O. I'm at NEA backed Stealth startup Graphite Systems. We have built a highly parallel hyperconverged platform (compute and memory) that can push 10M+ IOPS in a single node with 60 cores that have very high internal bandwidth (60-70GB/s) to datasets ranging from 5-140 Terabytes. Our latency is 5-8X faster than flash arrays (microseconds not milliseconds). We are looking for conversations around requirements & use cases for apps that could use this well as well as advice and networking.
