We are currently working on improving the upgrade documentation and started by adding an overview section <https://github.com/apache/mesos/blob/master/docs/upgrades.md> where the you can easily see potential changes/incompatibilities in different areas. We know that the rendering of the table isn't optimal yet but will continue working on this.
