Just walk through the same steps again.  If the same error happens, then
open the rat.txt and let us know what it doesn't like.  If the same problem
occurs, we can either...

(1) Exclude those files individually by editing the top-level POM.  For
example, here is the exclude for log files [1].

(2) Or we can skip RAT entirely. This doesn't help us solve the underlying
problem for the community, but it helps you make progress.  I am fairly
certain you can skip the RAT check by adding the parameter
"-Drat.skip=true" when you call maven.
