I would suggest first looking at the documentation for the most recent release, available here <http://metron.apache.org/current-book/index.html>. I would also expect some updated documentation/materials this summer sometime, as I know that is on a couple of people's to do lists. After you take a look I'd be happy to assist as I can. Thanks,
