Hello Aaron, Yes I use Ambari to manage the cluster. Great tool.
I see that that supervisor.childopts was set by default to 256m. I reset it to 1024m to see how things go. I also noticed ui.childopts and drpc.childopts which are set at Xmx768m and nimbus.childopts at 1024m. I left them as is for the time being. Thanks Frank From: Aaron Harris [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 4:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Java Heap error on Enrichment Frank, Are you using Ambari to manage your cluster? If so under the Storm service configs there is an item supervisor.childopts, this contains the Xmx setting you referenced which sets the maximum heap size for the Storm Supervisors which is most likely the cause of the OOM error. Hope this helps. Does anyone know where I can find this config? Kindest regards, Frank
