Yes, they are. Look into CVS:SPECS for spec files and also (better)
to CVS:nightlybuilds for automated RPM build for RedHat 6.2 and Mandrake 7.2

I think, RPMs for Connectiva could be built straightforward, there need only
addition in CVS:SPECS/configure.in to detect Connectiva distribution.

Yes. We have two sets of spec files:
1. Build Midgard RPMs for each component separately (midgard-lib, mod_midgard, 
    midgard-php, midgard-data). Specs for this case are in each componet's directory
    under SPECS subdirectory.
2. Build monolithic Midgard RPM (midgard and midgard-devel) and midgard-data. These
    specs in CVS:SPECS.

Latter works for RedHat 6.2 and Mandrake 7.2, and also is used in our experimental
Nightly Builds system.
