I just tried it again later at night and funny thing happened:
when i install both Midgard/PHP and PHP4 with their .ini files,
it works. Removing php4 and php.ini and it still works, well hm...

So, it's all okay, PHP4 and Midgard/PHP run together and a happy
Daniel sits in front of his beer with a big :)
