Try change the link line to be "-ldb2" then...on my machine (RH7.0), I
have:
bean [0] ls -l /usr/lib/libdb.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 Dec 8 16:00 /usr/lib/libdb.so.2 ->
libdb1.so.2
